Chiquita

Some songs begin with a clear idea. Others slowly reveal themselves while you are working on them. Chiquita was the second kind.

It began with a guitar melody and gradually found its rhythm through tabla, kanjeera, khartal, harmonium and bass. What came out of it feels warm and playful, like the final stretch of summer.
